Contractor who was brought up by his parents from Nigeria and Mumbai before he turned 7years old, traveled all over all over the world and had a taste of various cultures while growing up. She was educated in a boarding-school in London between 7 and 9. Later, her family relocated away from London to Toronto, Canada. Contractor trained and eventually became a dancer of classical style in Toronto. She studied at the Etobicoke School of the Arts in Toronto, a school of the arts that focuses on theater and dance.
